The 2017 Tacoma City Amateur is proud to have the first round of it’s 87 annual tournament held at Trophy Lake Golf and Casting Club. For those that are unfamiliar with Trophy Lake, it is one of the finer golf courses on the Olympic Peninsula. It has fast greens guarded by punishing bunkers. The second round will be hosted by Allenmore Golf Course. Allenmore has recently undergone a facelift with the Elks Club now at the golf course site. The final round will be held at one of the oldest golf clubs in America. Tacoma Golf and Country Club, founded in 1894, has agreed to host the final round of the Tacoma City Amateur. Members and those fortunate enough to have played a round there can attest to the quality of this fine old golf course. The tournament is scheduled for August 11, 12 and 13, 2017.
